After earning her art degree in graphic design, Kristina Werner took to the internet to share her creative journey through her blog. When readers kept asking her how she tied such perfect knots in ribbon (and she struggled to explain it in writing), she decided to incorporate videos into her content, and that changed everything! For the past 17 years, Kristina has built a vibrant cardmaking community on YouTube. These days, she spends her time using her graphic design and illustrations skills to create exciting products for the cardmaking industry, and then sharing tips on how to use them in her videos. Kristina calls the Salt Lake City, Utah area home, where she lives with her husband and their two adorable American Shorthair tabby kittens, Fred and Kevin.
Hi there! Laura Bassen here. You might know me better as Laurafadora, which is the name of my blog and social media sites. I was born and raised in central Illinois, but currently reside in Minnesota, the great state of hockey. We are a hockey family with my husband coaching and three of my five children all playing hockey. The other two daughters are following more after their mom working as graphic designers. I am extremely honored to have worked for so many craft companies over the years, most of whom have become dear friends. Included in that list of great companies is Mama Elephant. I have loved working for Kryssi and Angie and watching their company grow. I am so excited to teach at this event using their fun designs alongside such talented and experienced teachers. I hope to inspire and leave you with a smile on your face, which is not hard to do when working with Mama Elephant.
Julie Kelly - A passionate for teaching and designing card classes that spark creativity and confidence. Born and raised in Northern California, Julie has turned her lifelong love of crafting into a career filled with color, creativity, and connection.
Whether she's sharing her favorite techniques or guiding students through the magic of cardmaking, Julie’s classes are all about making learning fun and accessible. As a Copic Certified instructor, she’s especially known for her love of detail and helping crafters feel empowered with their tools.

Lori Craig is a Kansas creative who loves cardmaking and the amazing people she has met in papercraft. She has worked in the paper arts industry for 20+ years, and her current role is the North America Sales Manager for OLO Marker. Much of her experience through the years is specific to alcohol marker coloring, and she has spent 15 years teaching alcohol marker coloring to papercraft enthusiasts across the US, Canada, and in recent years, online. Lori shares cardmaking and crafty endeavors on Instagram with the handle wheatfield_designs. When she breaks away from her home craft studio she enjoys cross-stitching and boating at the lake with her family.
