Slim Highlands with Keeway

Hello friends! Keeway here today so share with you a winter scene card created with the Slim Highlands Creative Cuts! This die is great to set the scene for anything you dream up all season long. Since the holidays are just around the corner and the weather is getting colder each day, I thought it would be great to create a winter scene with some new and old stamp sets.

I have stamped and copic colored several images illustrated by Aida Zamora from the stamp sets Stay Warm and Snow Much Fun. All of her sets are so easy to mix and matchto create so many different combinations. After they were colored, I used the coordinating dies for most of the images, and only fussy cut the tree trunk.

Next, I used the Slim Highlands CC on white card stock. I'm going to be using the frame, the stitched hills, and snowcaps in white. I then ran this die again with a small piece of gray card stock to die cut out the mountains. I used some light ink blending to enhance some of the die cut pieces.

On a separate white card stock trimmed down to 3.5" by 8.5", I ink blended a sky with Chipped Sapphire, Victorian Velvet, and Antique Linen distress oxide colors. Once this was done, I assembled the die cut scene back into place and gave it a nice generous splatter of white paint to add a snowy look.

I added all my images to the scene with foam tape for some simple dimension. And to finish off the card, I stamped and die cut a sentiment from Everything Nice and adhered it above the lambs also with foam tape. I absolutely love how easy it was to put this all together! Thanks for joining me today!
