My Lucky Unicorn with Peggy

My Lucky Unicorn with Peggy

Hi crafty friends!

Peggy (@peggyemmerink) here with more inspiration for Mama Elephant’s April 2026 release. For my Designer Series project, I’m making a sweet ice cream shop card using the new My Lucky Unicorn and Castle in the Sky stamp sets and the new Sherbet Awning creative cuts. Let me tell you how I made this card!

First I stamped and colored my images from the new stamp set with copic markers and added white gel pen details. Next, I cut the pieces from the Sherbet Awning Creative Cuts from various patterned and colored cardstock. I cut the square frame piece a couple of times to make the stall. The black piece in front I wanted to be the chalk board. I stamped text from the Handmade Labels and Little Agenda Ice Cream on the chalk board and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I added a little color to the chalk board by adding some colored pencils.

Next, I cut a standard size white card base. I assembled all the pieces for the Sherbet Awning with liquid glue. I placed my cute girl and unicorn inside and the tiny cat in front of the stall. I made sure there would be enough room between the stall and the awning to place the bold sentiment from the Castle in the Sky stamp set.

I finished my scene by adhering the sentiment, creating an awesome ice cream themed card!

Hope you love how it turned out as much as I do! Have a happy crafty day!

Peggy
