Monster Hugs with Jenn
Hi crafty friends! I love mini cards and the cute little monsters from the new Monster Hugs set inspired today's project. The Classic Card Quads are the perfect size to create little notes so they were perfect for making these cute Valentine's Day cards! They could also be used as little love notes or encouragement cards for any day of the year so go ahead and get creative!
First, I prepared my backgrounds by trimming patterned paper and gluing on the card quads panels. I stamped and colored the monster images in colors to match my patterned paper. I cut the heart and "XO" out of colored cardstock and glued it on.
I used foam squares to pop the monsters up and give it height to make it easier to glue the lollipops. Finally, I used hot glue to glue the lollipops on. I made sure to position the lollipops so it looked like the monsters were holding them. These little cards were pretty quick and easy to make so I hope you are inspired to make some too!
