Math & Science Class with Mimi

Hi there, Mimi back on the blog today sharing a fun planner project using Mama Elephant’s May release! I love their adorable school themed release and it gave me an idea to bring out my planner and create!

I used my Happy Planner notebook to design this month of May school calendar layout. I started with an empty monthly calendar page and stamped the number dates to each square using Little Signage Agenda numbers. I also stamped and die cut the letters MAY using Layla Letters. I used different strips of patterned washi tape to create decorative borders and give pop of colors to the calendar pages. I used washi tapes that I had in my stash.

I stamped, colored and die cut images from the new Lil Kitty Docket, Math Class, Science Class and You’re A Super Star sets to decorate and add cute accents to the layout. I also added a few images from older sets like Keep Cozy, for the coffee mug and books and Peekabuddies, for the mini graduation cap and diploma.

Using the new Teeny Notes, I die cut a cute mini note, a binder clip, a paper clip and washi tapes. On the mini note, I added more images from Math Class, attached a binder clip to it and adhered it onto the page. I also attached more Lil Kitty Docket on the side note of the calendar page with washi tapes that were die cut from patterned washi tape.

I stamped some test schedules and happy occasion days to the calendar using Mini Messages, Math Class and Science Class. I also made an adorable paper clip topper with all the Mama Elephant friends from You’re A Super Star. Lastly I added some Stickles Diamond glitter glue to some of the images for some extra sparkle!
