Lunar Bunnies with Mimi
Hi there! Mimi here with a fun Lunar New Year Neighborhood scene.
I started off with a base card using the Mod Heart Creative Cuts rectangle frame. I stamped just the storefront portion of the apartment building from the Hey Neighbor stamp set around the middle of the card. I masked around the storefront window and stamped some cherry blossoms from the Lunar Extras stamp set and the small good fortune sign from the Lion Dance stamp set in it. I ink blended the sky with Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean distress oxide ink.
I stamped 2 more lower portion of the apartment building from the Hey Neighbor stamp set and die cut with its coordinating Creative Cuts. I also used the small critters included in that set.
All the lunar new year accessories I used to created the window scenes, the hanging firecrackers and lanterns are from the Lion Dance and Lunar Extras stamp set. I then die cut the images with its coordinating Creative Cuts and assembled the scene.
I also stamped and die cut some bunnies from the new Lunar Bunnies set.
Lastly I heat embossed the new year's sentiment with Rose Gold embossing powder. The sentiment is from the Lunar Bunnies and Lunar Sayings stamp sets.
