Lil Christmas Docket with Mimi
Hi there, Mimi here with a fun craft project using the Lil Christmas Docket stamps. These images along with the coordinating Docket Lil ATC Box die set makes for adorable mini cards. Today I’m sharing how I made a deck of Lil Christmas Docket playing cards. This project has a lot of repetitive steps but is well worth the cuteness!!

First, I used the rectangle card die from Docket Lil ATC Box, die cut 52 rectangle cards (yes, 52 for a whole deck of cards) from 65lbs white cardstock. I used a thinner cardstock so that it can fit the 52 cards into the ATC box. I divided the 52 cards into 4 suit sets (13 cards each); Hearts, Spades, Diamonds and Clovers.

I stamped each set with numbers 2-10 and letters A, J, Q, and K at the left corner of each cards and then rotating 180 degree to stamp the other left corner. I used numbers/ letters from Little Signage Agenda. I stamped 2 sets with pink dye ink and 2 sets in green dye ink.

After stamping all the number/letters, I stamped the mini suit images from Lady Luck. Under one set of pink numbers/letters, I masked and stamped Hearts. I repeated this with the other pink set and stamped Diamonds. I did the same for the green sets with Spades and Clover.

Next, I used a set of Lil Christmas Docket images for each suit set. Because the Lil Christmas Docket squares will overlap onto the suits/numbers/letters, I placed a strip of masking tape over it before stamping.

I colored all the images with PrismaColor pencils. I didn’t use Copic markers as the paper is thinner and will bleed through to the other side. I used a patterned stencil and ink blended the pattern on the back of all the cards.

Lastly, I die cut and assembled the Lil ATC Box out of patterned paper. I added a label using the mini ATC card die and the cute holiday cat from Winter Globes! There you have it, a cute deck of Mama Elephant mini Christmas playing cards!
