Lanyard Pocket with Peggy

Hi everyone! Peggy (@peggyemmerink) here with more inspiration for Mama Elephant’s March 2026 release. For my Designer Series project, I’m showcasing the beautiful new large castle included in the Penguin Park stamp set. I combined it with the letters from the new Lanyard Pocket creative cuts and the stamps from the Playing Cards stamp set. Let me tell you how I made this card!

First I stamped and colored my images from Penguin Park and Playing Cards with copic markers and added white gel pen details. I also cut out the lower case letter set from Lanyard Pocket creative cuts from black cardstock and the upper case letter set from pink cardstock.

I cut a square 4 1/2 inch white card base. I cut the Square Sunburst background from white cardstock and trimmed it down on all sides about 1/2 inch. I used Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink to give the Sunburst some color and splattered the panel with gold metallic watercolor paint. I layered the panel with a blue and yellow piece of cardstock underneath. Now we can start to decorate our base.
I adhered all my images using foam tape and liquid glue. I tucked the Playing Cards images behind the castle and made sure to leave enough room for the letters. Lastly I added the words 'you are' at the top and 'royalty' at the bottom of the panel. And that finishes my royal card! Have a happy crafty day!
