Home Sweet Home with Jenn

Hi crafty friends! I love combining my hobbies of cardmaking and crochet so I am so excited to share this project with you today! I wanted to make a sweet housewarming gift with matching card and the new Little Shelf Accessories and Home Sweet Home stamp sets were perfect for my project!

For the card, I stamped and colored a few of the cute shelf accessories. I used Dashing Herringbone on a piece of colored cardstock and then cut out panels using Postage Grid Cover. To create the frames, I cut kraft cardstock with Postage Grid Cover again and then glued the kraft frame to the herringbone panels using a small piece of cardstock on the back.  I popped up each finished frame with foam tape and then glued the accessories using thin foam squares. I stamped out the sentiment with matching colored ink. Finally, I glued everything onto polka dot cardstock.

To create the flower and vase, I crocheted a ranunculus flower using a pattern I found online (gotta love the internet!). I put the finished flower in a small vase and created a tag using Fave Tag Set and Docket Lil Flap Taggies. For the little tag, I only used one half of the tag and then cut out a fishtail to match the bigger tag. I stamped      the sentiment in pieces to make it fit the little tag and then found a heart stamp in my stash to stamp using the same ink I used for the card sentiment. To finish it off, I tied the tags onto the vase using some twine.

I love how everything turned out and I hope this inspires you to get creative with your Mama Elephant products! Thanks for stopping by! ~Jenn
