Hi everyone! We are so happy that you are here to join us as we highlight a few of our Guest Designers this month! We totally love seeing all the creativity and we are so grateful that they took the time to creating these beautiful projects to share with us all! So please give them some love and remember to come back tomorrow as we feature some more projects!

** Leontine - little_lovely_crafts **
Hello! I'm Leontine from Little Lovely Crafts and I'm really excited to show you my project for today. I used the Matchbox Builder set to create an enchanting midnight scene with the little gnomes from Oh Gnomie Tree and some of the little agenda gnomes. I was able to fit one of the inside holiday messages and two gnomes on the front of the matchbox and when you open it three different gnomes are greeting you with some festive accessories in their hands.
The matchbox itself is made from some colored cardstock. I colored the background panels with distress inks and splattered some water on top to make it a little more interesting. I stamped the images with black ink and I used copic sketch markers to color them. I used a white gel pen to add some sparkles to the images and the background.
The sentiment on the front panel was stamped with black ink and I melted some clear embossing powder on top to make it a little more shiny. I put the images inside the matchbox on a couple snowy hills. The hill in the back is glued down to the background and the one in the front is secured with the glue tabs at the sides and some foam tape in the middle to support the gnomes and keep the hill from bending.
And that's all there is to it! I hope you like it. Thank you for visiting the Mama Elephant blog and have a lovely day!

** Peggy - peggyemmerink **

Hi friends, Peggy here with a sweet card using the 9th Anniversary Release set called Tree Picking. I really love making scene cards, where there is lots to see! These little bunnies are so cute, having just picked out their favorite Christmas tree and bringing it home to decorate!
I started by creating a colorful panel with some ink blending and added snow, using a stencil and some texture paste. I cut a little snow bank for the critters to stand on. The images were colored with copic markers and cut with the coordinating dies.
To finish my card, I added a white frame and embossed the sentiment on some black cardstock with white embossing powder. Hope you are inspired and wishing you a happy day!

** Kavya - handmadebykavya **
Hi folks,
Kavya from Handmade by Kavya here! This is my first time on the Mama Elephant blog and I am so blessed to be able to inspire you today. For those of you who aren't familiar with my work, I love stretching my supplies and using vibrant colors... I don't have a distinct style and I love experimenting with new techniques! Today’s card is no different. I am revisiting one of my fav stamp sets, Lil’ Painters, and combining it with Inside Holiday Messages from the new release to create a fun Christmas card!
I first started off by creating my background by ink blending Victorian Velvet and Antique Linen Distress Oxide Inks. I then stamped and colored various images from Lil Painters using copic markers. I added some extra details to the critters using a white gel pen. This really helps the images ‘pop’! Then, for the bauble, I used a circle die cut and added some details to make it look like a fancy ornament. To finish the ornament, I added a tiny square piece of cardstock with rounded edges at the top of the circle diecut and added a thin strip of paper at the end. To make it look like it is in the process of painting, I only decorated/drew on half the circle diecut and added some paint splatters!
Finally, I arranged all the stamped images around the bauble and added a sentiment from Inside Holiday Messages to finish off my card!
That’s it folks! Wasn’t it easy? I hope this inspires you to stretch your supplies!
Happy Crafting,
Kavya

** Sylvie - kaliscards **
Hello! My name is Sylvie. I started crafting about 3 years ago and started sharing on social media at the end of 2020. You can find me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/kaliscards/. I love to mix and match different stamp sets to create unique one layer scenes using masking.
In this project, I created a Christmas night scene with the new Snowy tree stamped with Distress Oxides (Old paper, Rustic wilderness and Pine needles) and several previously released sets: Photo Bomb, Santa Baby, Reindeer Games and Meowy Woofmas. I ink blended the sky with Distress Oxides (Tumbled glass, Blueprint sketch, Chipped sapphire and Black soot). I colored the images with Copic markers. I also used white puff and glitter embossing powder to bring texture and shine to the tree, the roof and ground. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Scripty Xmas set. To finish the scene, I splattered white gouache: who isn't dreaming of having snow falling at Christmas?
