Deliver Spring Happiness with Jenn

Hello crafty friends! Today I am so excited to share with you an Easter card featuring the new Deliver Spring Happiness stamp set. I love the images because you can use them with the Deliver By Truck set or you can use them alone as I did with today's card.

Before I colored up my image, I picked my patterned paper so I would know what colors to use... a very helpful tip I learned from fellow DT member Davina! Once I decided on my paper, I chose my markers and colored up the eggs so everything would match.

For the basket, I cut 1/4 inch strips of some speckled cardstock I had in my stash and then inked all of the edges with antique linen Distress Ink. I wove them together, glued them onto some cardstock, and then cut out the basket base using one of the B2B Arches. To create the handle, I used the same arch die I used for the base and then picked the next smaller arch. I nestled them together, ran it through my die cut machine, and then glued the handle onto the basket.

I had some cream colored crepe paper so I cut it into thin strips and crinkled them to look like Easter grass. I added tape runner to the back of the basket and attached the Easter grass. The bow was cut from patterned paper using the Basic Set and the sentiment was from Spring Banner Greetings.

To assemble the card, I used the Quilted Cover to create the background from speckled cardstock. I cut a couple of Flirty Scallop Frames from white cardstock and then one from my chosen floral patterned paper and glued them together. I popped up the Easter basket with foam tape and the bunny image with thinner foam tape. Finally, I glued on the bow and banner to add the finishing touches!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you are inspired to create! Happy crafting!
