Congrats Graduate with Mimi
Hi there, Mimi here sharing two cards I made using the new May release stamp sets and dies! Graduation time is upon us and I created two special graduation cards using the adorable Congrats Graduate and Journey Ahead sets!

For my first card, I started with the new Insta Grid Creative Cuts. I die cut the Insta Grid CC from 80lbs white cardstock. I only used the squares for this card, I saved the outer frame to use for my second card. I stamped the images from the Congrats Graduate on 6 of the squares.

After stamping, I colored the images with Copic markers, masked the image and then ink blended each square with different color distress oxide inks. I stamped and die cut some letters and numbers from Layla Letters to spell out GRAD and 2025. I adhered it to the remaining 3 squares.

Next, I die cut the Studded Stars Creative Cuts from a piece of black decorative cardstock and adhered it to a white panel. I assembled the squares onto the Studded Stars frame, creating a grid, leaving some space in between each square. I finished off the card with the ‘congratulations’ sentiment from Way To Go.

For my second card, I used the square frame left over from the Insta Grid CC from the first card. I place the white frame on a 4.25” x 4.25” cardstock, the same black decorative cardstock from the first card. I stamped the images from Journey Ahead. For the van, I masked the critter friends and then ink blended the van with Blueprint Sketch distress oxide ink. Next, I stamped and die cut some graduation caps and diploma from Congrats Graduate and the star balloons from Deliver Winter Joy. I adhered them to the critter friends. I also added the banner to the van. I, again used the Layla Letters to spell out GRAD, stamped in Blueprint Sketch distress oxide ink.

I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and assembled the images for the card.

Lastly, I added some Diamond Stickles glitter glue to the white balloons for a bit of sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by!
