Bella Frame with Jenn

Hello crafty friends! It's me, Jenn, and today I am so excited to share with you a see-through stained glass wedding card that features Way to Go and Bella Frame! For a video of how I made this card, please head to my YouTube channel!

Sometimes there will be a product that immediately sparks an idea, and that's what Bella Frame was for me-- the window die reminded me of beautiful stained glass windows you would see in churches and I really wanted to recreate that in a card. I used alcohol inks on clear acetate to create the stained glass and the window die to create cut outs on my front panel and card base.

For the background, I applied texture paste through a brick stencil. The ground was cut from kraft cardstock using the Woodgrain Cover and lightly inked with Distress Oxide Vintage Photo.

My images were pulled from oldies-but-goodies, Pandamonium and Three Amigos. I added some shading to the pandas with Copic markers (T0, T1, T2, T3, RV30, RV00). I used a bit of thread to gather a small piece of white tulle to create a veil for the panda bride and adhered it with a glue dot. For the sentiment, I decided to heat emboss it with some iridescent embossing powder to give it a little more sparkle.
In the picture below, you can see what the card looks like with light shining through!

To create a space to write a message for the happy couple, I cut the Bella Frame out of pearl shimmer linen textured cardstock and glued it onto the back. Fun fact: this was actually paper from my wedding invitations!! (Yes, I saved the extra cardstock because I'm a crafter and that's what I do, hoard paper! hehehe!) The sentiment is from Wishes Enclosed.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you are enjoying all the inspiration for this amazing March release! Happy crafting!
