Artist Trading Card with Jenn

Hi crafty friends! I had a lot of fun using the new Artist Trading Card Creative Cuts with older, beloved Mama Elephant products to create a four seasons themed Mega Flipper waterfall card.
I used a lot of different stamp sets to create the four seasons and I will list and link everything at the end of the post.
Spring: The background was created by the emboss resist method. I stamped Wild Meadow with embossing ink and clear heat embossed the image. Then I ink blended over the image with various blue Distress Oxide inks. I masked off the image and ink blended some green grass and stenciled on raindrops with texture paste.
Summer: I used the Square Sunburst to create the sky and ink blended yellow and orange Distress Oxides. The ocean water was cut from patterned paper using Seaside Vibes. I inlaid gold foil cardstock to create the water highlights.
Fall: Does the background look a little familiar? The woodgrain is from the inside of the frame I made for my chess themed card from this release. I stenciled some fall colored leaves and splattered with bronze mica spray.
Winter: The snowflake sky was cut from Magic Snow Cover and lightly ink blended. The mountains come from the oldie but goodie set Scene Builder.
I love the look of the thin frame from the Artist Trading Card dies and matched each frame to the theme of the scenes. Since the frame die cuts two pieces, the inner piece was used to create the pull tab. I glued the strips together and then cut the pull tab out to create a custom striped tab. The sentiments were stamped on the small rectangle of the inner ATC frame. The card panel was from Quilted Cover. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from Celebrating You on the pull tab.
I hope you are inspired to get creative with the Artist Trading Card creative cuts! Thank you for stopping by today! Happy crafting!
